She panted for breath. They hadn't run far, but the sudden storm had surprised her. She shivered.
“Heck of a storm,” James said. “Probably be over in a few minutes. We'll be dry in here.”
Water splattered on her head and Mandy giggled.
“What's so funny?”
“Leaky roof,” she said. No sense complaining. Not like there was anywhere else to go, anyway. There was exactly enough space for two people, with no room to maneuver.
“Here, move in front of me,” James said, guiding her in front of him.
“No, you'll get squashed against that tractor,” she said. She swallowed the rest of her objection because with her back pressed to his front, her bones melted and her breath caught in her throat.
Rain? Who cared about rain? This hot body pressed against hers was the only thing she could think about right now.
She moaned and then she lifted her fist to her mouth to stifle it. Had he heard?
His erection pressed against her and she swallowed hard. Yep, he'd heard her. And reacted.
Trapped in a shed with a storm raging around them. Part of her wanted to open the doors and run out in the rain. The other part wanted to wiggle her ass against his arousal.

Indulgent #BLOGHOP Sept. 16-22 P*R*I*Z*E*S!!

How often do you let yourself indulge in something just for YOU? A bubble bath...some decadent chocolates...pumpkin latte (sooo good this time of year)...a good book! We all need to decompress once in a while, and you don't need to feel guilty about it. If you're like most women, you probably go-go-go until you drop. Your work is never done, and you're always doing for someone else.

Stop! Take a break right now, or later today. You're worth it. And you'll recharge your battery enough to go-go-go again tomorrow. But today...or tonight. Let yourself indulge.

I'd love to hear about your favorite indulgence. Your comment will be your entry to win in two ways:
1. Follow my this blog and leave a comment telling me you've followed! You could win a $5 Amazon or Barnes and Noble gift card. Drawing will take place September 23 via random.org
2. The Ndulgent Bloggers are hosting a GRAND PRIZE of $100 GF from WINNER'S CHOICE of Barnes & Noble or Amazon. See Rafflecopter form below.

Here's a little indulgent read for you from my latest release, BIRTHDAY THREESOME. Be sure to check out all the participants in the Indulgent Hop. The more blogs you comment on, the greater your chances of winning! Good luck!

Birthday Threesome
Tracy leaned back, fired the shot of tequila past her lips, and slammed the empty glass on the wooden table. Liquid heat sprinted down her throat and she hunched her shoulders against the sting. Did bravery come in liquid form?
Eric reached across the table and patted her hand with his. “Better?”
She nodded, but only to make Eric less anxious. The liquor didn’t make anything better. If anything, it made her hyper-aware of her skin. But his touch, his warm hand did comfort her.
Could she really do this? A present to him, but now that the time to complete the act drew closer, now that the threesome would be real, she wasn’t sure she could follow through with her birthday promise to him.
“Maybe one more shot?” Tracy glanced around the dimly-lit crowded hotel bar with its fancy chandeliers, and lifted her empty glass to signal the waitress for another.
Eric cradled both her hands in his, clasped them in the middle of the table. His touch soothed her, just as it had for the past three years.
He wanted another woman in bed with them. Wasn’t she enough? Couldn’t she satisfy him? After he’d explained threesomes were something every guy dreamed of, she’d agreed, because she loved him. But, she didn’t want to compete with some bombshell he hired to join them. Tracy worked out as often as she could, but she loved food a little too much. Size fourteen shouldn’t be considered overweight, but compared to some of the hot bodies that walked into Eric’s restaurant on a nightly basis, she found herself lacking.
The waitress set another shot in front of her and she stared at it, afraid to meet Eric’s gaze. Candles flickered on the surrounding tables, and a pianist played a slow romantic tune. “I don’t want this other woman touching me.”
“I already told her.” Eric’s blue eyes sparkled in the lights. He’d given her so much, helped her when she had nothing. They’d become fast friends when she started working as a waitress at his upscale downtown restaurant. He always kidded her about her lack of bartending skills. When her apartment building burned down, leaving her with nothing except a few items of clothing, he’d offered her a place to stay at his townhome. Instantly, they became more than just friends. Making him happy made her happy.
She’d do anything for him, even this. She squeezed his hands and then reached for the tequila the waitress set in front of her. Raising it in a mock toast to his beer bottle, she gulped it, this time treasuring the burn because at least it was a distraction from her fear. What if she didn’t measure up? What if he decided he liked the other girl better?
